Have you ever wondered what it would be like to venture back in time to study dinosaurs firsthand? In the latest episode of Armchair Adventures: our Join-in Story Podcast For Kids, the adventurers are off a prehistoric portal adventure, all while learning about the five steps of research!
Connie faces a dilemma with her school research project, but with Uncle Chris’s connections, they reach out to Dr. Rachel for assistance.
The adventurers then hop on a helicopter to Rachel’s secret research base. As Uncle Chris dons his news reporter persona, the adventurers join forces to tackle Connie’s research project using the five steps of research.

The adventurers brainstorm intriguing questions they could ask, and Uncle Chris decides to investigate 3 questions about the Tyrannosaurus Rex!

Jan: Have we arrived?
Unc. Chris: Welcome to – the dinosaur age…but let’s not forget where the portal is; we need that to get back home!
Customers: That’s really important. I’ll write it down.
Lily: Wow, it’s amazing here!
Christine: It’s so green, there’s loads of plants and nature…
Back in time to the age of dinosaurs, the adventurers observe a T-rex in action, collect data on its swimming abilities, examine its dung, and even get a sneak-peek at how it slept.
Despite a close encounter with a T-rex, the adventurers successfully gather their findings and return to Rachel’s research base!
With Rachel’s guidance, they analyse their data and learn the importance of sharing their discoveries. Uncle Chris broadcasts their findings to the world in a thrilling news segment, showcasing their newfound knowledge to eager listeners!
