Made by Mortals would like to invite you to this immersive workshop where we will take a walk in the shoes of two fictional characters, Kerri and Elizabeth, both of whom are experiencing domestic abuse. Inspired, coproduced and designed by people with lived experience, health and social care and VCSE professionals, the workshop will give you the time and space to understand what it is like for women living with abuse, and support a person-centred approach to care.

This is the first of two workshops open to people working in the field of domestic abuse/safeguarding, and also to members of the public. The aims of the workshops are to help develop people’s working practices and to help raise public awareness in our communities. 

Workshop 1 will be based around listening to an immersive audio production of ‘Kerri’s Story’ followed by a facilitated workshop, and watching a short film ‘Eggshells’ again, followed by a facilitated workshop.
