Hearts & Minds.

Share your experiences, find a new purpose and make lifelong friends through music and drama.

Hearts & Minds is a warm and friendly group of older people who are passionate about being creative and making the world better for others, particularly children.

Working alongside world-class professional artists and musicians, the group transforms their life experiences into music, scripts and exciting productions, including the multi-award-winning podcast for children Armchair Adventures.

Through fun and engaging intergenerational co-productions, the group visits schools and community spaces to help children better understand the world in thoughtful and imaginative ways.

Weekly laughter and creativity – no experience needed!

Whether you’re looking for a new purpose after retirement, keen to make new friends, or just want to enjoy some laughs over a cup of tea, you’ll find a supportive and informal atmosphere.

Best of all, you don’t need any music or drama experience, and the group is free to join. Everything is funded by Made By Mortals so that you can enjoy monthly community lunches, Christmas parties and more.

All you need is a willingness to share your experience, connect with others and get creative.

Where and when?

The group meets on Thursday mornings at Guide Bridge Theatre in Audenshaw, Tameside.
